Key Ingredients
Blue Beautifly Certified Organic Lip Balm protects the lips from the sun, wind, cold, or dry conditions with its nutrient-rich oils, butters, and botanical extracts.
Organic Beet Root. With vitamins A and C, folate, allantoin, minerals, amino and fatty acids, and antioxidants, it combats the appearance of lines, protects from free radical damage and UV rays.

For lip balms, I’m used to roll-on applicators or sticks. Why is you lip balm in a jar instead?
Two key considerations guided our decision to use glass jars instead of roll-on applicators or sticks:

What gives the pinkish red color to Organic Beet Lip Balm?
I am concerned about the palm wax in this product. Is it sourced sustainably?
I see other colorants, such as carmine, CI 75470, cochineal extract, crimson lake, or natural red 4 in other lip balms. What is that all about?
They’re all fancy names for an insect-based colorant that is common among many lip balms and other cosmetic products.

While on the topic of colorants, be super careful to avoid products with mineral colors as they can contain traces of heavy metals. Heavy metals can absorb through the skin or ingested through the mouth in lip products. There is nothing healthful about exposure to heavy metals.

My husband is in love with this lip balm! It does a great job of leaving his lips moisturized throughout the day with minimal re-applications. He even enjoys the smell of it. I bought the product when it was first launched and also received a couple of samples. The product has lasted a long time! I am finally making my second order for him. After using the sample, I ordered double pack of lip balm in the month of May this year. I would say this is the best lip balm I have been using so far. I used many different organic, chemical free lip balms but this one helped to heal my choppy lips under 3 days. I have this bad habit of biting my lips that caused the dark spots and led to pigmentation. Over the period of time, trying many brands did not help me much. But BB lip balm helped me with reducing the dark spots and keeps my lips hydrated all the time. out of double pack, I am still using one bottle. Thank you for the sample! My lips can be very finicky when it comes to lip balms so I was excited to try this one! Yet another win for Blue Beautifly! Lips feel hydrated and not sticky at all. They even look smoother which de-ages them a bit. My only critique is that it comes in a little pot and for a germaphobe like me, I would leave this baby at home and not take it with me on the go. I would flock to it as my all day balm if it came in a different delivery system! Maybe at some point in the future? xoxo

I’ll put it on before bed, and when I wake up my lips are seriously so so soft!
